Two Lanterns
“The future is coming! The future is coming!”

Last night—250 years ago—two lanterns were lit in the steeple of Boston’s Old North Church. That signal sparked a revolution that gave birth to our nation and its enduring ideals of democracy and equality.

The shots fired on April 19th echoed around the world. Today, let’s hope the world hears us again—without the need for gunfire.
